Altarviolet is the latest project fronted by Greta Hotmer, former singer/songwriter for the bands The Moxy and Leo Moon, with guest appearances by her longtime friends and former bandmates, Nick Bozelli, Jess Margera of CKY, & Carl Pannell. Greta blends the electronic sounds of her youth with angsty acoustic and analogue bass driven synths to bring her songwriting to life. In her own words, Greta describes Altarviolet as, “part nostalgia, part futuristic… the kind of music you can dance, cry, and sing your beautiful face off to all at once.” 

Greta and Nick have shared the stage with Young The Giant, The Sounds, CKY, INNERPARTYSYSTEM, The Color Fred (featuring Fred Mascherino of Taking Back Sunday), and Kill Hannah.
